Waverley house cottages are nestled on eigth acres of private landscaped native gardens and shady gums. Our newest two bedroom cottage 'bass', is a two bedroom/ two bathroom cottage with all the one bedroom cottage features - a special treat for two couples. All linen is supplied. They offer kitchen, CD, vcr, dvd, television, laundry, reverse cycle air conditioning and ensuite spa bath. They can be booked for two couples with one king and one queen bedroom or four people - with a queen and two king singles. Double doors lead to the king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and corner spa. Naming of the 3 two bedroom cottages, 'carstairs', 'colquhoun' and 'cunninghame' recall our historic links to earlier guest houses in lakes entrance, but all offer contemporary facilities. Relax on leather couches in front of the wood fire or with the comfort of reverse cycle air conditioning, CD, dvd, television, vcr and surround sound. The galley kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and convection/microwave oven. The one bedroom cottages 'salmon company' and 'fishpen' recall our family fishing links in lakes entrance and is perfect for a couple wanting a romantic and relaxing break or as a honeymoon destination. Relax here and put on a favourite CD or watch the action on the large overhead plasma television. All guests have use of a solar heated pool, covered kitchen and barbecue area or our lovely enclosed gazebo with its hot spa and guest lounge with open fireplace. The six spacious cottages all have covered carports and generous verandas to catch the views of bass strait or relax on outdoor settings to watch the beautiful sunsets, wine in hand. The cottages are perfect for a short break, romantic escape or longer stay and ideally situated for touring the gippsland lakes and east gippsland's coastal and alpine national parks.
