What you should know about Bulls Cruisers

Chartered Boats in East Gippsland, Tours in East Gippsland, Boat in East Gippsland, Chartered in East Gippsland

During the last century Captain James Bull owned and operated a number of little trading ships which, at the time, were an effective and essential part of the expansion of settlement around the Gippsland Lakes area. Bull, established a shipyard at meting, building and repairing boats and supplying a variety of other marine services. Bulls shipyards has been repairing and building boats in meting since 1924.The Bull family name has been linked with ship building and cruiser hire on the Lakes for over 100 years. This is a tribute to the excellence of the craftsmanship and robust design features of Bulls cruisers. From booking your holiday, to cleaning and maintaining your boat to your marine safety and cruiser briefing you will find our staff's friendliness and dedication second to none. They may even tell you where the fish are biting!!.

Sailing experience is required with this 30' Yacht. The cost is based on the stuffed days that you discard on your Bulls Cruiser. You are drifting the waterways of the attractive Gippsland Lakes system. The 3 main lakes are Lake King, Lake Victoria and Lake Wellington and they are all fed by rivers that unfold in the lofty country. The lakes offer excellent year round cruising conditions, with large areas of open water and secluded inlets and rivers to explore. We have been hiring Challenger for the past 10years for the Twin Rivers Bream Comp. The Challenger is a lovely Vessel to explore the lake system and rivers. I would highly support the trip to anyone visiting the area. Fishing rods, as well as bait and tackle are all available at our Bulls Cruisers office, earlier you set sail. The Barrier is picturesque and is noted for immense swimming, appropriate fishing and prawning (in season) as healthy as lovely sunsets. With a quick 1 tiny walk from the lake side, over the dunes to the 90mile beach you can take a walk along the beach to the Entrance. You can also walk along the lake foreshore to the entrance and over the dunes. Ocean Grange, Steamer Landing bung Arm (known as the Back Lake) with their excellent access to the 90 mile beach are only close by boat and is one of our favorite boating destinations! The Back Lake give excellent jetty and beach moorings as healthy as quiet beaches, vast surf or lake fishing, walks abundant wildlife, waterspout and swimming opportunities. A popular mooring as you have excellent access to the beach and walking tracks along the lake side and a picnic area and public toilets. Water sports: bung Arm offers excellent water skiing, wake boarding and water sport opportunities. Vast for exploring in the kayaking but too shallow for our cruisers. Paynesville, the boating capital of the Gippsland Lakes, offers a tranquility seaside village feel with all the facilities that you require to make your Gippsland Lakes boating adventure a great one. The Paynesville foreshore facilities is a lengthy stretch of walkway with restaurants and shops and facilities including playground, BBQ, toilets, showers walk tracks. Considerable public jetties are also available for mooring throughout Paynesville which are all close to shops, toilets, showers and picnic areas. Mooring: There are 2 public jetties on the Payensville side of the island which are Steamer Landing jetty at the North last of Raymond Island heading out of the Straits (100m from Bulls) and the Raymond Island jetty just to the north of the ferry. The Resides jetty on the east side of Raymond Island is also a appropriate public jetty. It flows southeast temporary through the insignificant town of Nicholson before entering Lake King, one of the main lakes in the extensive Gippsland Lakes system. I will would never ever go with another company other than bulls cruiser and to be really honest since our last hire the service has got better. I have been in many boats before, but have not had one we could sleep on.
